A widely adopted route to reduce emissions is exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). This involves recirculating a controlled proportion of the engines exhausts back into the air. Exhaust fumes contain carbon deposits and are constantly being recirculated through the engine, which in time causes carbon deposits to build up. These deposits can sometimes contribute to the failure of the EGR unit. Replacement EGR valves can be very expensive.
Our EGR service involves reprogramming the engine management ECU to help decrease the engine temperatures, improve throttle response and economy.

 

 

Many newer vehicles come with an Ad Blue system which is designed to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by spraying the Ad Blue fluid into the exhaust system. Although this system is extremely effective, it requires the vehicle owner to keep the Ad Blue solution topped up which can become expensive.
With our Ad Blue Delete system, we can reprogram your vehicle’s ECU to ensure that the Ad Blue solution is not injected into the system.

 

 

 

A DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) is fitted to virtually all new diesel vehicles, and are used to filter exhaust gases and remove particulate (or soot). Over time, the DPF will gradually get a build up of finer soot, and will require either regenerating or replacing which can be costly.
For vehicles which are only going to be used off-road, Kent Tuning offer a DPF Delete system which can bypass these large bills and even increase the performance of your vehicle.

 

 

 

Many vehicles come direct from manufacturer with a speed limiter in place. As an example, many German vehicles (including models by BMW, VW, Mercedes etc) have a speed limiter in place to prevent them going over 155mph.

If you have modified your vehicle, it is common to get a permanent fault code in your engine management system, which can cause many issues such as dashboard warning lights and limp home mode.
If your vehicle is experiencing a fault code issue, Kent Tuning’s Fault Code Delete system could permanently delete this from your engine management system, and get your vehicle back to its best.

 

 

 

An OBD System (or On Board Diagnostics) is essentially an early warning system to alert you of a potential malfunction in your vehicle, which should hopefully prevent a minor problem developing into a major one.
With an OBD remap, we can often drastically increase the performance of your vehicle through increased horsepower, increased torque, smoother power delivery and even improved fuel efficiency.
