The services offered by Kent Tuning include modifications that are intended for off-road, motorsport or export use only. Please read the following carefully before booking any work.
Off-road and export use only
The sale of any modification, remap, tuning, engine or exhaust modification, DPF, PPF, OPF, CAT, AdBlue, EGR removal, or mileage blocker service is exclusively intended for export or off-road use.
Vehicles that have undergone these modifications are not compliant with MOT regulations and cannot legally be driven on UK public roads. Where applicable, vehicles must be removed from our workshop by tow truck or recovery vehicle, not driven away.
Customer acknowledgement
By proceeding with any of the services listed above, you confirm that you understand and agree to the following:
- Driving the modified vehicle on public roads may result in prosecution.
- Using the vehicle on public roads after modification is a criminal offence.
- You accept full responsibility for any legal consequences arising from any use of the modified vehicle.
- Kent Tuning has informed you that driving the vehicle on public roads is prohibited, and such actions may lead to prosecution.
- Your vehicle will not comply with MOT regulations after the modification.
- Kent Tuning can offer a tow truck or recovery service to prevent the vehicle from being driven on public roads.
- After payment and receiving the keys, you are solely responsible for ensuring the vehicle is recovered on a tow truck off the private estate, accepting full liability for any legal implications, and you confirm you will not drive on public roads.
- You confirm that you are not employed by a government agency such as the DVLA, DVSA, VOSA, or the police.
Signed acknowledgement at the workshop
In addition to this online disclaimer, all customers booking off-road or export-use services will be asked to read and sign a written disclaimer form at the workshop before any work is carried out.
